Juan had looked for sites around Panama City and El Valle before we arrived. He was an excellent guide throughout and we managed to photograph a lot of butterflies.

My husband and I recently spent a week in Panama. We booked Juan for 6 or the 7 days we were there and it turned out to be the best decision we made. Juan picked us up at the airport and provided transportation to our hotel 90 minutes away. We booked tours with him including Panama city, the canal and the canal expansion, fishing on Gatun lake which also included some wildlife and hand feeding the monkeys, the indigenous tribe, the ruins at san Lorenzo just to name a few. During the week he served as our transportation, our interpreter, and our tour guide. He is always on time, polite, informative and has a passion for his work. I believe Juan's guidance and expertise made this a trip of a lifetime for us. If you are spending a week or just a day or two in Panama, I highly recommend using Juan!
